The recently released The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a pretty great crafting system, and players are using it to mock tech billionaire Elon Musk after he imposed certain limitations on new, existing, and verified Twitter users.

According to Kotaku, a prominent The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player from Japan built and then blew-up Elon Musk’s name in the game, and other Twitter-using The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-loving fans are in full support of his actions.

The bombing of the Twitter CEO’s name in Zelda comes after Elon Musk imposed a limitation on the number of Tweets users can see.

Namely, the player wrote out Elon’s name in giant letters in the Hyrule Kingdom and then bombed it to bits out of frustration over Elon Musk’s new Twitter limitation. Of course, other fans dissatisfied with Elon’s decision took this as a rallying cry and soon followed suit.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom largely improved on all the things that made Breath of the Wild, its predecessor voted as the best game ever made, proving once again that Nintendo does know how to make a massive hit. Even those who had never played a single Zelda game are now flocking to buy the Nintendo Switch console to play the game and perhaps even blow-up Elon Musk’s name in the process.

A prominent Japanese The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player built Elon Musk’s name in the game, and then blew it to smithereens.

One of the features that make the new Zelda game so great is the new Fuse and Ultrahand abilities that have opened up a whole new world of creativity within the game. If any game developer needs pointers for making a great crafting system, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the game to look at.

Gamers have used this system to make all sorts of things in Zelda, such as the binary calculator, spinning flamethrowers, watering systems, and other contraptions, including bombs—devices of mass destruction that have been used to blow up Elon Musk’s name.

The Zelda Hate For Elon Musk

The bombing of the Twitter CEO’s name in Zelda comes after Elon Musk imposed a limitation on the number of Tweets users can see. On July 1, Twitter users that scrolled way too far were greeted with the “rate limit exceeded” message, which prevented them from seeing any more tweets.

As it turns out, the intentional and temporary limitation was placed on all Twitter users, with new users being able to see 300 tweets, existing unverified users being limited to 600 tweets, and verified users being limited to 6000 tweets per day.

According to Musk, the intentional and temporary limitation was imposed to address the extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation on Twitter. These limitations were subsequently increased to 400 for new, 800 for normal, and 8000 for verified users.

Still, this hasn’t stopped the fans from rallying behind the Zelda player that blew up Elon Musk’s name in the game, with many stating that the new impositions are borderline dumb. We won’t dive into the Twitter matter, but it’s curious to see new ways in which Zelda’s new creativity system is used.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently available for the Nintendo Switch gaming platform.
