One of the best moments in television came in the form of Temuera Morrison reprising his role as Boba Fett. Fans will know the man from appearing in the prequels as Jango Fett, and his look was the basis for the original clone army. When he appeared in The Mandalorian to reclaim his rightful armor, the collective Star Wars loving world lost their minds. The emergence of Boba Fett led to a spin-off series called The Book of Boba Fett. But long before that all happened, fans also noticed something odd about Morrison. Along with his age, he was also looking portlier than before. Some were quick to point out Fett’s “dad bod.” The actor took to his Instagram to show how he is working on his image after being labeled, “Boba Fat.” You can see the video below:

While fat-shaming people is certainly not ok, it’s good to see that Temuera Morrison got a laugh from someone calling him fat. It’s also good to maintain a healthy lifestyle, so his working out is beneficial regardless. From the above video, you can see Morrison pumping away while his trainer encourages him. We’re not sure what kind of workout regimen he is on, but his biceps look ripped already. We might have seen the last of “Boba Fat.” Now let’s make way for… Boba Ripped? Yeah, that’s not that great.

Without actually signifying it, this video also holds a more secret meaning. While fans were speculating The Book of Boba Fett to be a one-off season of its own, it may mean that we are going to see much more of Temuera Morrison in the near future. While some fans saw Boba Fett playing second fiddle to The Mandalorian in his own show, that doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t get more of the world’s favorite bounty hunter. Boba Fett is easily one of the most popular characters in the entire Star Wars mythos, and there is no reason why his story shouldn’t continue. If he survived the Sarlacc Pit, then he most certainly can survive critics.

While fans are certainly eagerly awaiting the announcement of The Mandalorian Season 3, Temuera Morrison looks to be wanting to stay in shape for his eventual return as well. Even though Boba Fett is certainly not the same as Mando in terms of their allegiances, he was a focal point in The Mandalorian. So much so, that it led to his own spin-off series. Not to be harsh, but Star Wars executives now know the value in anything they produce and will milk it for all its worth. There is certainly a case to be made for an additional Boba Fett season.

Temuera Morrison is currently 61 years old, and he looks fit in his Instagram video. We salute you for wanting to better yourself in any way, sir. Hopefully, there is more Boba Fett action on the horizon, but at the very least, we can all wait for his eventual return in The Mandalorian Season 3.
