The World’s Best Rapper Is Appearing On She-Hulk
She-Hulk is already streaming episodes on Disney+, and now it has been announced that the world's best rapper is going to be part of an upcoming episode.
She-Hulk is off and running, and the new MCU series has already jumped into one of the most fan-favorite shows made by Marvel. The show does boast a massive cast that includes Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Benedict Wong, and Charlie Cox. Marvel is not stopping there, as it has been reported that the world’s best rapper will be appearing in the series. That rapper is none other than the massively popular Megan Thee Stallion. The mega-famous rap artist is going to be appearing in an upcoming episode, though we are not sure if she is going to be cemented further within the MCU. You can see the announcement below:
In the above video, Josh Segarra is describing how his character Augustus “Pug” Pugliese as having a client that is dealing with being catfished by someone who he thinks is pretending to be Megan Thee Stallion. Or rather, it could be some other fictional recording artist that Megan will be portraying with the MCU. We think it should just be her portraying herself. Also, if it is someone pretending to be her, it might be a good instance of the rapper showcasing her acting skills. It does sound like it could be quite a funny situation that She-Hulk and her compatriots must take on.
This is not the first time that Megan Thee Stallion has shown off her acting skills. The rapper also held a small role in the STARZ series, P-Valley. Although there are plenty of musicians who have transitioned into the acting game, not every rapper or musician has what it takes to make an impact. Megan Thee Stallion is clearly a very talented woman, especially if she impressed Marvel enough to allow her to showcase her acting on She-Hulk. It will be interesting to see if she is going to be appearing in more than just the above episode.
The multiverse is certainly a big part of Marvel’s current continuity, so we could be seeing Megan Thee Stallion take on a more expansive role should her character be someone that the MCU integrates into further entries. Again, this might be determined likely by her playing a fictional rapper, or herself. We certainly vote for the latter. Imagine Megan Thee Stallion being written into comics and further She-Hulk seasons. She could end up having powers and being this new superhero that no one saw coming. We would be on board with this wild idea. Also, if Marvel takes this idea, we expect our royalties.
She-Hulk is currently streaming on Disney+. The first two episodes are already available to watch, though we are not sure when the Megan Thee Stallion appearance will happen. Considering the story about her cameo has broken, we would expect she might make her cameo this Thursday, or possibly within the next two weeks. Either way, we are excited to see what her character can do. Also, if someone is pretending to be her, then who is this mimicking character as well? All these questions are sure to be answered soon.
