Fans of Norman Reedus will get their fix for Daryl Dixon on January 23rd at 9 p.m. EST. This sounds to be the perfect lead-up to the final season of The Walking Dead, which is set to air on February 20th. That is to say that the first part is set to premiere on that date. What is exciting about these new The Walking Dead: Origins episodes is that fans will get to see how their favorite character has evolved since entering the show. Fans can likely see how Norman Reedus and Daryl Dixon become one and the same. It would also be nice to see how he came about using his favorite crossbow weapon. Even more than that there could be a possibility to show how each character was more vulnerable in their first interactions with the undead. Imagine Daryl being massively frightened by a walker? That’s likely not to happen but it would be great to see.
Norman Reedus has been steadily busy with his time on the show and is going to remain as the character of Daryl as a spin-off revolved around the character has already been announced. The Carol and Daryl spin-off is set to air sometime in 2023.
The Walking Dead took the world by storm when it first aired on AMC, back in 2010. The Norman Reedus series is based on the comic book series of the same name, which was created by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. This comic and TV series has created The Walking Dead franchise. The franchise has been highly successful as the AMC series has been one of the most viewed series of all time. Characters from the entirety of the show have been killed off and the drama surrounding survival has been one of the most talked-about aspects since the initial premiere of the series. With that, Norman Reedus became a massive fan-favorite on the show, and is great to see that his character is alive and well. What is even more interesting is Daryl Dixon was never actually a character in the comics, but that hasn’t stopped him from becoming one of the most talked-about characters on the show.
