If you’ve been missing Cameron Diaz on the big screen, IMDb TV has you covered. One of her last movies, The Other Woman, is currently streaming for free and has hit the top ten on the platform. If you haven’t seen this 2014 comedy, now is as good a time as any to catch it, especially since it won’t cost you a thing.

The Other Woman stars Cameron Diaz as Carly, a woman who falls for the handsome Mark King (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau). She soon finds out her boyfriend has a wife (Leslie Mann). Then they both find out that there’s another woman he’s been seeing (Kate Upton). The three team up to get back at Mark for his cheating ways. The Other Woman was directed by Nick Cassavetes and written by Melissa K. Stack. The rest of the cast is rounded out by Don Johnson, Taylor Kinney, Nicki Minaj, and more.

If you like romcoms, The Other Woman might be able to scratch that itch for you. With that being said, it might not be the best the genre has to offer. Despite the talented Cameron Diaz-led cast, the movie doesn’t have the best reviews. The Rotten Tomatoes critic score is currently at an abysmal 26%. The more forgiving audience score puts it at 57%, which is a much more mixed reaction. Going off the audience score, it seems like this movie just might be worth your time if this is a genre that you love. Obviously, that doesn’t guarantee you’ll have a good time with it, but at least the movie is free! It’s also just under two hours long, so you won’t be spending too much time on it if you end up hating it.

If you’re a big fan of Cameron Diaz, checking out The Other Woman is probably a no-brainer. It was one of her last roles before she quit acting, so your catalog of options might be pretty limited at this point. After The Other Woman, Diaz also appeared in Sex Tape and Annie in 2014. After that…no more Cameron Diaz! We got a brief re-introduction of Diaz’s acting talents in the 2020 Instagram video Boss Bitch Fight Challenge organized by stuntwoman Zoë Bell. Other than that, we haven’t been blessed by a Diaz performance in years.

Of course, just because she’s not acting anymore doesn’t mean she hasn’t been keeping plenty busy. She married Benji Madden in 2015 and welcomed their daughter Raddix to the world in 2019. She also became a best-selling author since ending her acting career, releasing The Body Book and The Longevity Book. Her books act as guides to help people become happier, healthier, and stronger. She also managed to find time to co-found and create a wine company called Avaline. In short, maybe Diaz doesn’t even have the time for acting at this point! Being a mother, author, and business owner are all full-time jobs of their own, so acting might not be in the cards for the near future.

One could hardly blame Cameron Diaz for calling it quits, even without considering all of her current ventures. The actress was in tons of movies from the late 90s and 2000s. After all that work, anyone might want a break, even if they love their profession. Still, fans are hoping that Diaz might return to reprise some of her most famous roles in the near future. Fans of Charlie’s Angels would definitely love to see her get back into that kickass role and team up with Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore again. Of course, one role that fans would almost expect Diaz to return for is the voice of Fiona if another Shrek movie comes out. With rumors constantly swirling about a fifth Shrek in the works, it just wouldn’t be the same if Diaz didn’t reprise her role. Who knows, maybe the next Shrek will be Diaz’s return to acting that we’ve been waiting for?

While there’s no guarantee if we’ll ever get a Cameron Diaz movie, at least she has plenty of films on her resume that you can revisit and enjoy at any time. If you haven’t seen The Other Woman, now is a good time to check it out.
