The Percy Jackson Book Series

Percy Jackson and the Olympians began as a popular young adult book series by author Rick Riordan. The series consists of five novels published between 2005 and 2009. The story starts with The Lightning Thief, in which readers are introduced to the 12-year-old protagonist, who discovers he is a demigod, a child of Poseidon, the Greek God of the sea.

In Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters, Percy and his friends journey to the Sea of Monsters (the Bermuda Triangle) to retrieve the Golden Fleece, which can save their home, Camp Half-Blood. They face various challenges and confront new adversaries, including Luke Castellan, a demigod who has turned against the Olympians.

In 2007’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Titan’s Curse, readers found Percy and his friends embarking on a quest to rescue the goddess Artemis, who had gone missing, and thwart the plans of the resurrected Titan, Atlas. In 2008’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Battle of the Labyrinth, the titular hero and his friends navigate the treacherous Labyrinth to stop the resurrection of Kronos.

The final book, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Last Olympian, culminates in a battle for New York City as the Titan Army, led by Kronos, launches an attack on Mount Olympus. Percy and his friends play a crucial role in the defense of Olympus and the ultimate showdown with the Titans.
