There’s nothing quite like a steamy trip to the sauna to soothe your nerves, and Salma Hayek is demonstrating how relaxing a trip to the spa can be on her Instagram page. In her most recent post, you can see the Eternals star laying on a wooden sauna bench wearing nothing but a relaxed smile and a couple of strategically placed towels to keep the pictures PG-13. But it’s worth noting that these pictures were probably taken before her steam session commenced when you consider how high quality the two photos are.
Though Salma Hayek looks quite relaxed in her two sauna photos, her post is generating quite a bit of excitement. In just one day, Hayek’s pictures have racked up 830,983 likes and thousands of comments that both praise her form and figure while also condemning towels.
The caption reads, “embracing the healing power of the sauna and sweating out the stress this #WorldWellbeingWeek,” and if she was stressed before this photo shoot, it’s safe to say that she left her worries behind at the front desk, so she could spend some quality time with herself.
World Wellbeing Week takes place from June 26 to June 30 and strongly emphasizes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Though many of us succumb to the daily drudgery of the rat race, Salma Hayek reminds us that no matter how busy you are, it’s always in your best interest to stop, take a breath, and schedule some rest and relaxation whenever you can.
And if you really want to take a break from your daily doom-scrolling, the sauna is probably the best place we could think of to unplug and take some deep breaths.
In other words, we’re seeing a notable absence of clothes on Salma Hayek, but we’re also seeing no smartphone. Just think about how impossible it would to be to argue on Twitter when your phone is covered with a layer of condensation!

In a post from three weeks ago, she has a very intimate closeup of her face, highlighting her wrinkles and greying hair, which her fans absolutely adore.
It’s not uncommon for naturally beautiful women like Salma Hayek to get the airbrush treatment for publicity photos. But the 56-year-old actress owns up to her aging in a way that’s nothing short of inspiring for younger women by letting them know that getting older isn’t anything to be ashamed of but rather embraced. And we’ve got to say that this natural, unfiltered look looks great on her.
