Natalie Portman was the belle of the ball at the Miss Dior Millefiori Garden Fragrance pop-up opening in Los Angeles over the past weekend. The Thor actress blew everyone out of the water when she appeared at the star-studded event sporting a black, floral-patterned lacy dress complete with frills, pairing the look with strappy black high heels. The outfit also featured a black bralette with a dazzling belt cinched tightly across the performer’s waist. Topping it all off, the Black Swan star adorned her head with a sparkly diamond tiara.

Connecting with her fans, Natalie Portman posted the look on Instagram for the world to see.

Although she shared this bit of her life with us, the Garden State actress isn’t one to put it all on display like many of her peers do. Clocking in at a whopping 7.5 million followers, they don’t get an awful lot of content from Natalie Portman who has only shared 23 posts since her Instagram debut in October 2020. Instead, she chooses to use her social media page as a home base for her book club, keeping followers up to date on what she’s reading. Aside from the novel based posts and carrying out her duties as a Dior spokesperson, Portman keeps the rest of her private life as exactly that.

While she isn’t into sharing new looks and updates surrounding her latest project, we do know that Natalie Portman will be making her return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe this summer in Thor: Love and Thunder. While we caught a glimpse of Portman’s character, Jane, in Avengers: Endgame, we haven’t gotten a storyline featuring her since her last Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Thor: The Dark World, which came out almost a decade ago in 2013.

Although Natalie Portman will be portraying Jane once again in Love and Thunder, it hasn’t been made completely clear as to what exactly Jane will be called to do. We know that she’ll be stepping in as a female Thor, wielding the God of Thunder’s magical hammer, Mjölnir. Only time will tell what else will happen, as we have yet to see a trailer giving us further clues to the plotline behind Love and Thunder, which is set to hit theaters on July 8.

Although Jane is the character for which many Marvel fans know Portman, the actress’s most notable role perhaps came to her during 2011’s Black Swan. In it, she and Mila Kunis take on the twisted tale of two ballerinas battling to come out on top in the New York City Ballet company’s production of Swan Lake. Natalie Portman’s portrayal of the psychologically spinning ballerina drew audiences in so well that it felt as if viewers were descending into madness with her. For her performance in the blockbuster hit, the Israeli-born actress earned countless praise from critics and was an award circuit darling, taking home an Academy Award for Best Actress and a Golden Globe Award in the same category.

While her Instagram may not be work-centric, we are always happy to see Natalie Portman make an appearance on her social media channels. And who knows, while we await first looks of Love and Thunder, maybe the mood will strike the Academy Award-winning actress to give fans more of an eye behind her time on the film.
