Millie Bobby Brown recently launched a new range of eye shadow sticks via her makeup brand Florence by Mills. The Stranger Things star modeled a pink shade in a stunning photo on Instagram. For the shoot, the actress wore a low-cut feathered dress which she paired with matching jewelry. Two sticks of the product are seen on a nearby table.

“These shadows are so good, and I can’t wait to see all the fun looks you create using them,” Millie Bobby Brown wrote in the caption. Speaking to Allure, the Enola Holmes star said her connection with Gen-Z fans led her to create Florence by Mills. Named after her great-grandmother, the brand is made for younger consumers.

Millie Bobby Brown initially thought the brand would be a diversion. But in the last few years, it has allowed her to develop products that genuinely inspire her fans. “I don’t know anything about beauty and skin care. That’s why I created this,” she told the publication. The actress discovered she loves learning about botanicals, serums, extracts, and enzymes.

Since Stranger Things debuted in 2016, Millie Bobby Brown has become hugely famous. Unfortunately, the dark side of fame led the young star to abandon most social media platforms due to bullying. These days, someone else handles her digital presence. The actress also went to therapy to manage the near-constant online harassment.

Even before she turned 19, Millie Bobby Brown was inappropriately sexualized for years. While she did her best to ignore it, the effects have been severe. Now, she only speaks to fans through blog posts on the Florence by Mills website. She says it works because “Nobody can comment.” But she still finds it hard to understand why simply existing generates so much hate.

Fortunately, thanks to a wonderful support system, Millie Bobby Brown realized she doesn’t have to define herself based on online commentary. “I just had to develop within myself. That’s what I did,” she told Allure.

Away from her makeup brand, Millie Bobby Brown is currently working on a film called The Electric State. Billed as a sci-fi adventure, the movie is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The story is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Simon Stalenhag.

The Electric State follows a girl named Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown) who receives a robot from her missing brother. With the help of her technological friend, she sets out to find him. The cast also features Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Giancarlo Esposito, Anthony Mackie (Sweet Tooth), and Billy Bob Thornton. The movie is set for release in 2024.

Millie Bobby Brown is also set to star in Damsel. The Netflix movie is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo from a script by Dan Mazeau. The story follows Princess Elodie, who discovers that the Prince she married plans to sacrifice her to the Kingdom’s sacred cave dragon. So she sets out to save herself from a dreadful fate.

Damsel is set for release on October 13. Along with Millie Bobby Brown, the cast includes Nick Robinson, Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, and Ray Winstone.
