While attending the Tashkent International Film Festival in Uzbekistan, Kevin Spacey expressed that he was worried he was experiencing a heart attack or another type of cardiac event, prompting a trip to the hospital. However, 64-year-old Kevin Spacey was released from the hospital shortly after arriving, making it possible for him to attend the remainder of the festival.
Actor Kevin Spacey experienced a medical emergency on Monday while he was in Samarkand, Uzbekistan at the Afrasiyab Museum. Later, while he was attending the Tashkent International Film Festival that night, Spacey revealed that he had experienced roughly eight seconds of numbness in his arm, reports TMZ.
Kevin Spacey indicated that experiencing such a scary event made him appreciate life, also revealing that he had been looking specifically at the art decorating the Gur-Emir Mausoleum when the incident occurred. He also offered congratulations to the festival filmmakers and organizers, emphasizing the importance of offering opportunities for new storytellers to grow their careers in the industry.
As heart attacks are the number one cause of death in the United States, Spacey exercised appropriate measures by going to the hospital after experiencing potential coronary health symptoms. Academy Award-winner Kevin Spacey has been staying out of the spotlight in recent years due to accusations of sexual assault. Though he was cleared of charges in a Southwark Crown Court, London trial, there is a list of sexual assault accusations dating back to 2017. There were nine total public accusations, all brought forth by men.
Most recently known for his role in House of Cards, the American Beauty actor Kevin Spacey had been accused of sexually assaulting actor Anthony Rapp, who was 14 at the time of the alleged incident. While the accusations began in 2017, they date back to the early 2000s and include groping, performing nonconsensual oral sex, and making general unwanted advances.
