Kate Hudson stuns again. The Glass Onion star is known for her glamorous looks, including one that the actress recently posted on Instagram of herself dressed in a striking bright red cut out gown with a high slit. The shot is of the dress the How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days actress wore for the Netflix Golden Globes and Critics Choice Nominee Toast last weekend, which you can see below:

The 43-year-old actress has worn a number of striking outfits over the years, proving that Kate Hudson is capable of pulling off any look. This particular dress was designed for the Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2023 collection and boasts bright poppy red fabric that flows from a single shoulder strap into a long skirt that rests on the floor beneath the actress’s matching bright red pumps. The dress has a single strap securing the fabric over one shoulder and features a thigh-high slit, as well as cutouts on either side of the actress’s ribcage.

For the event, Kate Hudson wore her hair in a high ponytail with her bangs framing the sides of her face. Her makeup was natural with a pink lip, and she wore a simple gold chain necklace that matched the gold bracelet strapped around her wrist.

As the daughter of singer Bill Hudson and actress Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson grew up in the artist’s limelight. Despite having had famous parents, Hudson’s own talent allowed her to make a name for herself, and she made her feature debut in 1998 with the drama Desert Blue. However, her true breakout role came in 2000 when the actress played Penny Lane in Almost Famous, directed by Cameron Crowe. For her part in the film, Hudson won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress and earned her first (and currently only) Oscar nomination.

After that, Kate Hudson appeared in many films, mostly in the romantic-comedy genre. In addition to How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days in 2003 (which she starred in alongside Matthew McConaughey), Hudson also appeared in You, Me and Dupree (2006), Fool’s Gold (2008), and Bride Wars (2009). Besides her penchant for acting, Hudson is also an entrepreneur, and she co-founded the successful workout leggings brand, Fabletics.

While Kate Hudson has had continuous film work since the early 2000s, the actress had ceased to be directly in the spotlight for several years, that is, until her recent role in the critically acclaimed Glass Onion murder mystery put her back in the public’s attention. It was for this film that Hudson was appearing at the Netflix Golden Globes and Critics Choice Nominee Toast where she wore this glamorous red dress.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is the second in a trilogy of Detective Benoit Blanc mysteries written and directed by Rian Johnson. The film stars Daniel Craig as the greatest detective in the world, Edward Norton as Miles Bron, the essential tech billionaire, and Kate Hudson as one of Miles’ inner circle, Birdie Jay. The film also stars Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, and Madelyn Cline.
