This video, edited together by Jeff Vitkuske, is far too long—clocking in at almost four minutes—and far too spoilery to serve as a real-world trailer. But goddamn, will it ever make you want to watch Wrath of Khan, like, right now. In the end, isn’t that what a trailer is supposed to do?
And just in case you happen to be wondering, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is up on Netflix right at this very instant. With a few easy mouse clicks, you could be up and streaming Ricardo Montalban as a genetically enhanced villain. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect way to while away a few hours?
This video contains one bit of evidence that many have pointed to in order to substantiate their claims that Khan is the villain of Into Darkness. We’ll find out for sure in May.
