Tales Of The Jedi Season 3 Can’t Exist Without These Characters

The first season of the animated Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi series gave us a closer look at the lives of Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku and the upcoming Tales of the Empire will dive deeper into the stories of Nightsister Morgan Elsbeth and Jedi Barriss Offee. WIth Tales of the Empire proving that the animated series will feature more than just Jedi (or former Jedi) characters, that opens up Season 3 to follow just about anyone in the Star Wars universe. With that in mind, here are some characters that should definitely get the spotlight in Tales of the Jedi Season 3.

Quinlan Vos

Fans always want more of Quinlan Vos, so this seems like an obvious choice. Vos is unlike most Jedi we meet in the Star Wars franchise, with a sarcastic sense of humor and a tendency to not necessarily do things the “Jedi” way, so it would be cool to see more of Vos doing pretty much anything. Vos also has a unique Jedi ability known as Sense Echo that allows him to hear memories when touching objects, so maybe a serialized set of episodes where Vos goes into detective mode.

General Grievous

general grievous

General Grievous is everyone’s favorite Separatist general thanks to his cunning nature, iconic design, and tendency to collect the lightsabers of Jedi he (supposedly) kills. Except we hardly ever get to see Grievous actually cut down Jedi to add lightsabers to his collection. It would be great to see how Grievous came to be known as such a fearsome Jedi hunter and how he rose through the ranks of the Separatist army.

Plo-Kloon

Plo-Koon is one of the coolest Jedi in the franchise, both in design and demeanor. It’s safe to say that this fan-favorite Jedi would make for a great set of Tales of the Jedi episodes. He also had a Wookie Jedi Master named Tyvokka, so maybe we could get a glimpse of Plo-Koon’s years as a padawan or knight training under Tyvokka so we could get some more insight into both characters.

Aayla Secura

Speaking of iconic Jedi who trained under awesome masters, a series of episodes that focused on Aayla Secura could serve the dual purpose of following both Secura and Quinlan Vos. Training under a non-traditional Jedi like Vos would certainly be an interesting experience, and it would be cool to see it from Secura’s perspective. Plus Secura is a fan-favorite character in general, and she never really got enough spotlight in the movies or the animated shows.

Baylan Skoll

If Tales of the Empire is going to give us more backstory for Ahsoka character Morgan Elsbeth, then there’s definitely no reason that Season 3 couldn’t give us more Balyan Skoll. Ray Stevenson’s Baylan Skoll was one of the best parts of Ahsoka and fans were left wanting infinitely more when it came to his backstory and how he came to leave the Jedi Order behind. It’s going to be an immense task to replace the late Stevenson in the role, but Skoll is easily one of the most interesting characters Star Wars has introduced in recent years.
