Super Mario Bros. – The Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach! was produced by Nintendo and Grouper Productions. It featured Mario and Luigi heading on a mission to rescue Peach from Bowser. Tōru Furuya played Mario and Yū Mizushima played Luigi. Furuya is best known for his voice work on Dragonball Z, One Piece, and Sailor Moon while Mizushima is known for his voice work on Parasyte. Furuya also voiced the plumber in the video games before Charles Martinet took over for all Mario games in 1998. Masami Hata directed the film.
