The Rebellion Could Have Used This Dog’s Help To Take Down The Empire

Here’s a little-known fact: evil Sith lords, they’re totally helpless against the advances of an overly friendly, if slightly amorous, canine. If you don’t believe me, if you think this is completely made up, there’s proof. Watch this video. See what happens when none other than Darth Vader, asthmatic scourge of the galaxy, encounters a happy-go-lucky puppy dog that wants to play.

Apparently the Rebellion would have been much more successful if they’d had enlisted the help of this fuzzy little buddy, and maybe a couple of his four-legged pals. This one appears to be rather adept at taking down sinister, lightsaber-wielding villains. The best part is when he starts to get a bit frisky and you can tell he’s thinking about humping the living crap out of the fallen Vader. How would a dark lord react to being mounted like that?

What the hell is going on in this video anyway? It looks like some sort of Star Wars street performance, but is that dude really wearing red Chuck Taylor’s under his cape? You can’t help but think the whole thing is staged, everything from the nut-shot to the dog. Vader is obviously not being attacked, but you’ll notice that none of the other performers tries to do anything. In fact, none of them look particularly surprised by the entrance of the dog. And his owner doesn’t do a damn thing.

I’m going to go out on a limb and call the dog a plant. Probably overanalyzing this just a bit, aren’t I? Still, if this dog had been around, Luke might still have a hand.
