See Nicolas Cage Completely Transformed For His Next Film
Nicolas Cage is a man of many faces, and one to fully immerse himself in his roles as he has famously demonstrated over the decades. Sometimes he has long hair, sometimes he has short hair, in the case of his upcoming film Dream Scenario, Deadline has shown us a photo where he has almost no hair.

Though it goes without question that Nicolas Cage almost always has an upcoming film on his release slate, we’re talking specifically about Dream Scenario, which will see a September premiere at the 48th annual Toronto International Film Festival.
Dream Scenario is a Nicolas Cage starring surrealist satire-comedy about social media culture and its effect on real life situations. Not much else is known about the plot, but what we do know is that Nicolas Cage will take on the lead role of a professor who “goes viral” after inexplicably appearing in everyone’s dreams one night.
We have reason to believe that there will be consequences to Nicolas Cage’s newfound fame as he becomes an overnight sensation, and has difficulty dealing with all of the attention he’s receiving.
The Kristoffer Borgli written and directed film will show us a more subdued looking Nicolas Cage, but given how distinct his face is, you’d have no problem picking him out of a lineup. At a first glance, however, his shiny bald head, big wire frame glasses, brown sweater, graying beard, and scowl will certainly make you give the actor a double take.
Sympathy For The Devil
At any rate, Nicolas Cage’s new look is most certainly a far cry from how he presented himself in Sympathy for the Devil, which saw its premiere on July 28. This just makes us wonder if Nicolas Cage has a closet full of hair-pieces and bald caps, or if he has ever accidentally arrived on set dressed for the wrong role considering how prolific he is.
Though this hypothetical scenario is highly unlikely when you consider how many of Cage’s colleagues have said he’s always one to show up prepared for a day of filming, it’s still a lot of fun to think about.
The Cast Of Dream Scenario
Though Nicolas Cage has top-billing in Dream Scenario, he will be starring alongside Michael Cera (Arrested Development), Julianne Nicholson (Law & Order: True Crime), and Tim Meadows (Train Wreck). The upcoming film will be produced by Ari Aster, and distributed by A24 after its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
It certainly seems as if Nicolas Cage is on quite the tear these days with his recent role choices, and we are nothing short of blessed to be alive at the same time that he’s putting out so many great movies. At the very least, we can hope that his direct-to-video days are long behind him, and he will continue to devote himself to his craft, no matter what he looks like, for years to come.
