Chuck Norris The Expendables

While the riotous mob that stormed the Capitol on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, included conspiracy theorists, white nationalists, and even guys dressed like QAnon buffalos, there is a new theory that Chuck Norris might have also been part of the crowd.

Several people who were at the rally-turned-riot took pictures with a man they claim is Chuck Norris. The 80-year-old actor has previously endorsed President Donald Trump in 2016, and has been a Republican for years. Norris previously said that America would face “1,000 years of darkness” if President Barack Obama won re-election in 2012, and Norris voted against California’s Proposition 8 back in 2008, which made same-sex marriage legal.

While the man certainly has a beard and reddish hair, and is clearly a supporter of Trump, many have pointed out that this man isn’t the former Walker, Texas Ranger star. Some have taken to Twitter to prove that this isn’t Chuck Norris, pointing out that the man in the pictures has dark eyes, while Norris has blue eyes, or that the man in the photo doesn’t look to be 80, especially compared to photos of Chuck Norris now. Another Twitter user used facial recognition software to show that while the man matches Chuck Norris 85%, that only means the two look vaguely similar.

The person who took the photo with the imposter Chuck Norris that is making the rounds is Matthew Bledsoe, the type of scumbag that Walker, Texas Ranger would beat the crap out of. Late last year, Bledsoe was charged with domestic assault after chasing his wife, picking her up by her throat, and slamming her to the floor. Bledsoe also told his oldest daughter that he wished his wife would kill herself. If that was the real Chuck Norris – it wasn’t – hopefully he’d be throat-kicking Bledsoe all across the Nation’s capital.

Chuck Norris has mostly stayed away from the Hollywood spotlight over the last few years, and while he’s come out to show his support for Republican leaders in the past, Norris was relatively quiet when it came to the 2020 presidential election. The last time Norris appeared in a film was 2012’s The Expendables 2, however, the actor has made multiple cameos on television over the last few years. Most notably, Norris appeared on an episode of The Goldbergs in 2015, as well as last year making a cameo on an episode of Hawaii Five-0, and appearing on TNA iMPACT! Wrestling.

Even though there is a reboot of Walker coming to The CW on January 21, 2021, starring Jared Padalecki in the title role, it doesn’t look as though Chuck Norris has any involvement in this new project. However, with many of these reboots of old television properties, it always seems like the old stars come back to visit their old shows eventually. If Norris can’t make a cameo on Walker, then maybe the show can get one of these look-a-likes to make an appearance instead?
