Brie Larson plays a superhero on the big screen, becoming one of the more powerful people in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And she takes the role very seriously. We’ve seen the training she puts herself through and also how important her daily routine is for her overall well-being. And now we have another example of how Larson is making fitness a part of her goals. She posted on Twitter a video of a major personal accomplishment. That was the actress *finally* doing a one-armed pull-up.
The video of Brie Larson doing a one-armed pull-up was posted on her personal Twitter account and showed off the actress in a sports bra taking to the bar and getting up three reps before it was all over. It’s an impressive feat of strength and obviously something she’s been working on for some time. Here, check out the video of Larson doing the pull-ups.
Brie Larson takes fitness very seriously and as part of her training for playing Captain Marvel, and just being physically fit in general. She’s shared quite a bit about what she puts herself through in the gym. As part of her incredibly popular YouTube channel, Larson has posted a number of workout videos showing just what kind of work she does on a daily basis so she can look and feel the part of playing a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those have included some grueling workouts and some early call times as well. It’s something she puts a lot of time and effort into.
The fact that Brie Larson is intentional with her approach to acting and devoted to making sure she works through things even when they are difficult is a big reason for why she is so successful in life and in her career. Though she hasn’t been taking a lot of roles over the last few years, the major one she has is among the biggest in the industry.
Brie Larson is set to reprise her role of Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel in the upcoming sequel to her original massive hit. This one will simply be titled The Marvels and will bring her character back while also introducing Iman Vellani who will take on the Kamala Khan role. While Larson is still established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this will expand the story some and branch out to others who have taken on the interplanetary mantle over the years.
And she isn’t just in the Marvel Cinematic Universe either. Though that role appears set for as long as she wants it, she’s also just signed on to work with Apple in a deal that will include multiple projects in the future. The first is going to be a television series Lessons in Chemistry which will be based on an upcoming novel by Bonnie Garmus. Set in the 1960s, it will follow Larson’s character who has aspirations of being a scientist but has to put those plans on hold because the era wasn’t yet celebrating women in these roles. That’s due out next year.
In all, Brie Larson is gearing up to be even busier on the big and small screen and is obviously taking that work seriously. Heck, just check out the one-armed pull-ups she’s pulling off like they are nothing. It’s more than a little impressive and just a testament to how seriously she takes the process.
