The actor was overseas in the Dominican Republic while shooting a film called Dangerous Waters. Although there are no details about his cause of death, it has been reported that he passed away in his sleep. At least the man went peacefully, though it is still sad to have to report. The actor leaves behind his daughter, Karsen. He was also engaged to be married to Jacy Nittolo.
Ray Liotta has held a legendary career that dates back to 1980. Although he began his career in show business by garnering small roles, he had his breakout when he was cast as Henry Hill in Goodfellas. The Martin Scorsese gangster epic is arguably the greatest on the subject of organized crime, apart from The Godfather. Liotta starred in Goodfellas alongside Joe Pesci and Robert De Niro. The film would go on to garner six Academy Award nominations, with Pesci reeling in the win for Best Supporting Actor. Although Liotta was known most for Goodfellas, he held many more impressive roles. One of the best scenes from the film comes when Tommy and Henry argue at a bar.
