Succession Star Alan Ruck Crashes Truck Into LA Pizza Shop

According to law enforcement officials, the accident took place around 9 p.m. on Tuesday with surveillance cameras revealing that Alan Ruck’s truck slammed another vehicle from behind. This shoved the second vehicle into the intersection, where it presumably collided with the other two vehicles involved in the accident.

Thankfully, it would appear that no serious injuries occurred as two of the folks hurt in the crash were said to be conscious and breathing. Also luckily and unbelievably for a busy night on the streets of LA, no pedestrians were harmed in the accident. Alan Ruck and the others involved are also not believed to have been under the influence of anything as cops ruled out a DUI as the cause.

While some folks may have been star-struck to see Alan Ruck on the sidewalk making phone calls while waiting for emergency crews to arrive, it was the truck that drew most onlookers. Many passerbyers snapped photos of the unbelievable scene with the front end of the actor’s truck jammed into the brick building.

Allan Ruck Is Best Known As Cameron From Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Breaking onto the scene through his role in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, to many, Alan Ruck will forever be known as the neurotic best friend to Matthew Broderick’s titular character in the comedic coming-of-age film.

In Ferris Bueller, Cameron Worries About His Dad’s Car Getting Wrecked

Ironically, his character in the John Hughes film, Cameron, is paranoid about his over-controlling father and what will happen if he discovers that Cameron and his pals took his beloved Ferrari for a joyride. While he doesn’t wreck the car in a pizza-related accident, by the end of the film, Cameron destroys the sports vehicle in another way.

Alan Ruck Stars In Succession

succession season 4

Outside of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Alan Ruck has been seen in TV projects, including Sin City and other films such as Twister, Bad Boys, and Speed. Most recently, audiences everywhere cheered him on as Connor Roy, the eldest son of Brian Cox’s Logan Roy in HBO’s award-winning series, Succession.

His portrayal of the go-with-the-flow non-power-hungry son earned Ruck an Emmy Award nomination. While he may not have come out on top by the series’ end, audiences enjoyed watching Ruck’s performance alongside his co-stars and on-screen siblings, which included Sarah Snook, Jeremy Strong, and Kieran Culkin.

Alan Ruck’s Most Recent Movie Is The Burial

This year, Alan Ruck also appeared in film in the Maggie Betts-directed semi-true-story feature, The Burial where he was featured alongside Jamie Foxx, Tommy Lee Jones, Mamoudou Athie, Jurnee Smollett, and Bill Camp. The film, which is based on a New Yorker article of the same name, tells the story of a lawsuit waged against a funeral company and the drama and crookedness behind a major corporation.

As for his next project, Alan Ruck will be spotted in Kari Skogland’s Wind River: The Next Chapter, a sequel to the 2017 film. There, he’ll star alongside Martin Sensmeier and Gil Birmingham.

For now, we’re sending healing wishes to Alan Ruck and the others involved in the Los Angeles accident.
