Ezra Miller is back in the news and once again it’s for all of the wrong reasons. Following an incident over the weekend at a bar in Hawaii that saw the actor taken into custody, a new set of circumstances seems to have emerged from his time on the island. According to CBR, a couple living in Hilo has filed a restraining order against Miller after the actor threatened them and allegedly took some of their possessions. It appears that the situation is currently under investigation with court documents describing what seems to be a pretty weird set of allegations against the actor.

Apparently, the restraining order filed by the couple in Hilo accuses Ezra Miller of threatening their life and stealing their wallets which include driver’s licenses, bank cards, passports, and other personal items. As of this writing, according to the filing, those things had not been returned. Additionally, the couple is saying that Ezra Miller threatened them when he entered their bedroom in their home saying, “I will bury you…” Apparently, Miller was staying with them at the time and they have had some kind of previous relationship. It doesn’t sound like this was a breaking and entering kind of situation.

Another part of the filing against Ezra Miller was the couple’s claim that because Ezra Miller was wealthy it would make, “access to weapons much easier; as well as sending associates to harass the petitioner.” Those two pieces don’t seem to be backed up by any evidence but were part of the complaint filed.

And this alleged incident follows up a weekend kerfuffle in which Ezra Miller was arrested by Hilo police after a local bar called the authorities when they said a patron was getting out of hand. It has been alleged that Ezra Miller berated a woman who was performing karaoke and then went after a man playing darts at the establishment. Police took him into custody on the charge of disorderly conduct. He quickly posted bail and was released. At this time, neither he nor his representatives have commented on the situation. For what it’s worth, the timing of the restraining order against the couple came after this bar incident.

It’s unclear how these two alleged incidents will affect major productions Ezra Miller has in the works if they do at all. Fantastic Beasts and the Secrets of Dumbledore is set to open in a couple of weeks in the United States and this will be Miller’s third movie in the franchise as Credence Barebone. And then, of course, there’s The Flash which is the highly-anticipated solo movie for the character. Miller will be speeding through the DC Extended Universe’s version of the Multiverse in what looks to be an adaptation of the Flashpoint story arc. It will include some new characters like Sasha Calle’s Supergirl and will also bring back Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/ Batman.

These are disturbing allegations leveled against Ezra Miller over the last week and we will have to wait to see how it all plays out. As of now, the studio hasn’t commented either and there’s probably some hope it’s just lost in another news cycle.
