Everything we’ve seen from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire so far appears to be bigger and deadlier than the first film. A new clip from the film features a fierce training scene with the Tributes of the 75th Hunger Games competition.
The scene features Jena Malone as District 7’s axe-wielding Johanna Mason from with her deadly axe; Alan Ritchson as District 1’s Gloss with his throwing knives; Meta Golding as District 2’s Enobaria with her sharp teeth; and, of course, Jennifer Lawrence as District 12’s Katniss Everdeen, armed with her iconic and trusty bow and arrow. The scene is quick paced and has been featured in a few trailers, but the clip above allows the scene to play out. Just compare the training scene from the first film to Catching Fire‘s. You can see that the sequel is much bigger than the first Hunger Games film.
