Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Yet Another Trailer Description That’s Totally Different

star warsHey, do you remember earlier today when we heard reports about the upcoming trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens? Someone heard a description of the action from their sources and relayed it and we relayed it to you. (You can read about it HERE if you want, or just wait until a bit later, as we’ll get back to it eventually.) Well, as it turns out, they’re not the only ones with sources, and they’re not the only ones whose sources are talking about the upcoming trailer. This latest report, however, is drastically different from the first.

Again, I don’t if you can spoil a trailer, but I’m sure there are people that sensitive out there, so here goes: THERE ARE POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR THE STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS TRAILER.

The First Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer Contains This

star warsIt’s getting to be that time. Principal photography has wrapped up on Star Wars: The Force Awakens—the J.J. Abrams directed one, not the fan film of the same name, just in case you were wondering—and word is we’re getting a trailer soon. How soon is a point of contention, but it should arrive before too awful long, and though it isn’t here quite yet, we’ve heard our first description.

I guess maybe there are spoilers beyond this. Can you really spoil a trailer? Also, this is all just rumor and unconfirmed reports, so make of it what you will.

Watch This Trailer For Star Wars: The Force Awakens, It’s Not What You Think

Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Episode VII of the beloved space opera franchise is now known, is still 400 or so days away, but your first look at a trailer is right here, right now. Okay, not exactly. While this video is in fact a trailer for something called Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it’s not the one you’re probably thinking of. Back in 2006, a fan made his very own film, interestingly enough called Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And this is the trailer for that.

Luke Skywalker Has A Fire Burning In His Eyes In Star Wars: Episode VII

Now that we know the title of the next Star Wars movie, there’s nothing more to discuss, right? Oh wait, there’s still everything to speculate about because aside from the fact that it is now officially called Star Wars: The Force Awakens, we still don’t know all that much. But now there’s a report going around that could shed some light on the state of one of the returning characters: Luke Skywalker.

Two things. First, SPOILERS! SPOILERS!! SPOILERS!!! Or at least potential ones. Which brings us to point number two, this is completely unsubstantiated, and though it does seem to jive with other things we’ve heard, take it with a grain of salt.

Star Wars: Episode VII Just Got This Official Title

Han SoloWell here it is, the moment you’ve been waiting for since Disney bought Lucasfilm and announced there will be more Star Wars movies. We’re not talking about any official plot details or looks at the movie or anything like that, but now we do know what the J.J. Abrams-directed film is subtitled. Meet Star Wars: Episode VII—The Force Awakens.

This is…a title. To be honest, I don’t have particularly strong feelings on it either way, it’s just kind of bland. It’s also a serious departure from the super dramatic monikers like The Empire Strikes Back, The Phantom Menace, and Revenge of the Sith. Then again, Return of the Jedi isn’t the liveliest title ever. I have to say it’s better than The Ancient Fear, which was rumored to be the working title a while back.

C-3PO Made Some Bold Claims About Star Wars 7, Find Out What He Said

c-3poThe Empire Strikes Back is widely regarded as the greatest sequel ever made, especially in geekier circles. One actor, however, thinks the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII may claim that throne next year, and, unlike most people, he’s in a unique position to spout off on such a topic.

Anthony Daniels is one of only two actors (Kenny Baker as R2-D2 is the other) to appear in all six, soon (ish) to be seven, Star Wars movies. Even if you can’t picture what he looks like in real life, you know his beloved, prissy golden droid C-3PO, a prominent part of the franchise from The Phantom Menace all the way through Return of the Jedi. Like everyone else in the world, he’s all over social media, and now that Episode VII has wrapped principal photography, he took to Twitter to let the world know what he thinks of the film, and as it turns out, he’s got a high opinion of the project.
