The annual New York Comic Con unfolded this past weekend a record-breaking 150,000 people in attendance, which made it officially bigger than San Diego Comic-Con. And having been to SDCC many times over the years, that fact is pretty mind-blowing. If you, like us, weren’t able to make it out, you can still experience some of the highlights thanks to the wonder that is the internet. We’ve gathered some of the most interesting panel videos for your hungry little eyeballs, and while they don’t include any of the exclusive footage that was screened at the Con, you do still get to see the people behind some of your favorite things talking about the making of some of your favorite things. We’ll kick things off with AMC’s massively popular zombie drama…

The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead returned in fine form this past Sunday, but if you’re wanting more clues as to where the show might be headed this season, you can watch the NYCC 2014 Walking Dead panel above. It starts out with showrunner Scott Gimple, executive producer/creator Robert Kirman, EP Gale Anne Hurd, and EP/makeup maestro Greg Nicotero. Around the 8:30 mark the bulk of the show’s cast joins the discussion, including Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Michael Cudlitz (Ford), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol), Chad Coleman (Tyreese), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), and Norman Reedus (Daryl).

Doctor Who/Arthur Darvill
The Doctor may have mourned and moved on from the loss of the Ponds, but the fans still love them some last centurion. Actor Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams/Pond) got his own spotlight panel at NYCC this year, without his wife, older daughter, or time-hopping son-in-law to steal the spotlight.

Firefly
Over a decade after Fox gave Firefly the ax, the fan love shows no signs of stopping. I imagine, just like the Star Wars and Star Trek celebs before them, the Firefly cast will continue showing up at conventions pretty much until the end of time. This time Jewell Staite (Kaylee), Sean Maher (Simon), and Nathan Fillion (Mal) showed up to soak up the crowd’s adoration and tell funny stories.

Firefly Online
If you’re one of those fans who’s still salivating for anything Firefly related, this panel focused on the upcoming Firefly Online probably isn’t going to help your drooling problem.

Star Wars Books Panel
With the old Expanded Universe having been relegated to the no-longer-canon “Star Wars Legends” line, the foundations of the new Expanded Universe are being laid by things like Star Wars Rebels, Marvel’s upcoming comics series, and the novels. We’ve already read A New Dawn, which served as a prequel to Rebels and was pretty entertaining, but there’s much more to come.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Now that the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles flick has come and gone and horrified, we can go back to pretending it doesn’t exist. Instead you can focus on Nickelodeon’s ongoing TMNT ‘toon, which just premiered its third season.

Young Ones
This is one you might not have heard of. Young Ones is a post-apocalyptic thriller set in a bleak, water-scarce future. It was written and directed by Jake “Gwyneth’s little brother” Paltrow. Cast members Michael Shannon, Nicholas Hoult, and Kodi Smit-McPhee showed up at NYCC to promote the flick.

Finally, we’re including several panels that don’t really fit under GFR’s sci-fi umbrella, but which we’re sure many of you still might be interested in. Yay, Daredevil! Meh, Gotham!
