The World’s End And The Entire Three Flavours Trilogy Hits Blu-Ray This November

The World’s End, the third and final film in Edgar Wright’s Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy was met this past summer with much fan anticipation. Almost nine years since the release of Shaun of the Dead in 2004, Wright’s newest film did not disappoint as it pleased both genre fans and fans of smart British comedy. Now you can experience all three movies–Shaun, The World’s End, and Hot Fuzz—Blu-ray on November 25.
Not only can you watch the adventures of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as Gary King and Andy Knightley, but you can se their misadventures as Shaun and Ed, as well as Inspector Nicholas Angel and Sergeant Danny Butterman, all in one convenient box set. The bonus features on the box set are pretty sparse, but they include interactive screenplays for all thre films. A few months ago, Wright released interactive screenplays of Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, so adding the The World’s End to the mix will complete the trilogy.
Universal will also release solo Blu-ray and DVD editions of The World’s End with a healthier dose of bonus features. In this format you’ll get audio commentaries, featurettes, and cast and crew interviews. Check out the complete list of bonus features below:

While some foolish viewers have been disappointed with The World’s End, when compared to Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, the movie gains more enjoyment on multiple viewings. I was lukewarm on the film until I watched it for the second time. Much like its predecessors, there are so many hidden jokes and references throughout this begs viewers to watch it multiple times. The World’s End is definitely a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.
Hopefully, this won’t be the last time Edgar Wright works with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. They’re such good friends, and have such an extensive history, that it’s hard to imagine the three of them not making movies together. After all, they all got their start together with the TV series Spaced 1999.
