In today’s installment of what-the-fuck-is-wrong-with-the-Internet, we have something truly magical for you. Jurassic Park has one of the most incredible scores of all time. Big and epic and sweeping, it marked the 12th time that composer John Williams teamed up with director Steven Spielberg, and the end result is one of the high points of an already vaunted career. If you’re like the rest of us, you’ve probably wondered, from time to time, could this wonderful piece of music be improved? And if so, by goats? The answer to both of these questions, as you can clearly see from this video, is yes, goats can in fact make this better.

There isn’t really a combination of words in the English language that can adequately describe this video. It is in fact exactly what it claims to be, footage of goats edited together so it looks like they’re singing the Jurassic Park theme song. But it is also so much more than that, transcending mere momentary viral video status, becoming something so much bigger than any of us, reaching new heights of absurdity for the human race. Then again, maybe someone just has way too much time on their hands and access to a shocking amount of goat footage.

When goats watch Jurassic Park is it like humans watching a slasher movie? I’m thinking specifically about the scene where they tie the goat to a stake to tempt T-Rex. From a goat perspective, that has to be the equivalent of a horror movie. Can’t you just picture them sitting on a couch, chewing a mouthful of blackberry bush, covering their eyes but still peeking around their hooves? I imagine the movie has a similar impact on lawyers. At least it isn’t beer made with goat brains.

And because the Jurassic Park theme is so, so good, here it is, on repeat, for ten hours. Because, you know, the Internet.

Maybe I’ve been living in a cave or under a rock, but I was surprised to find that this is far from the first time that footage of goats has been used in such a musical way. I was, of course, wrong. Goat music videos are just about everywhere. For example, check out this unusual take of the Academy Award-winning “Let it Go” from Disney’s recent animated hit Frozen.

Or perhaps this Miley Cyrus video is more your speed. I have to say, this made me laugh more than I’m proud to admit.

And for those of you with a fondness for 1980s hair bands, here’s a goat-infused Bon Jovi video for your consideration. Enjoy.
