New Walking Dead Season 3 Clips Show Michonne Being Badass

Comic-Con is only a few days away and the anticipation and excitement for The Walking Dead panel on July 13th is amping up. AMC TV will be bringing the cast and creators of The Walking Dead to San Diego to tease and field fan questions for their upcoming season three premiere. You don’t have to travel to Southern California to get in on the excitement around The Walking Dead, AMC TV has released two new zombie-filled clips for your viewing pleasure.
Last week, AMC TV released their Comic-Con poster to promote and highlight the zombie-centered drama. They also released new images of our gang of survivors in their new prison setting in Woodbury, Georgia. This week, they have released a full behind-the-scenes featurette showing legendary special effects make-up artist Greg Nicotero creating new zombies in his amazing workshop and now a short clip featuring new character and fan favorite Michonne (Danai Gurira) in deadly action.
The new clip shows Michonne being completely badass. The clip starts with Michonne entering a drug store full of “walkers.” She then knocks one down before slicing its head off with a samurai sword then impales two more before slicing their heads off. She then gingerly picks up a small package of aspirin before walking away as a zombie’s head still gasps for “life.” If this is a small taste of the level of zombie violence we’ll get in season three then fans of The Walking Dead are in for a treat.
The Walking Dead Season Three will premiere in October 2012.
