All You Need Is Kill Leaked Location Photos Have Tom Cruise On A Motorcycle

Tom Cruise seems to have given up on dramatic performances for a life in sci-fi action movies. In two months, Cruise will star opposite Morgan Freeman in Joseph Kosinski’s Oblivion, and next year, he will star opposite Emily Blunt in the film adaptation of All You Need Is Kill.
A few weeks ago, leaked location photos from London depicted Tom Cruise as his All You Need Is Kill character, Lt. Col. Bill Cage. In a new series of leaked photos, Cruise is shown racing across the London streets on a motorcycle. Is it me, or is Tom Cruise getting too old to be an action star? All You Need Is Kill is based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s best-selling Japanese manga. It made its way around Hollywood and wound up on the so-called “Black List” of the best unproduced screenplays in 2010. The futuristic time travel movie will also feature Emily Blunt (The Adjustment Bureau), Charlotte Riley, Jonas Armstrong, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and Bill Paxton. Doug Liman (Jumper, The Bourne Identity) will direct, based on a screenplay by Dante Harper.
The film will follow a soldier, Lt. Col. Bill Cage (Tom Cruise), who is killed in battle during a future war with mysterious “Mimics,” who have invaded Earth (sounds a lot like Oblivion). Cage inexplicably wakes up from death, only to relive the deadly battle all over again. Each time he is resurrected, he tries to change his circumstances so he can avoid his ultimate fate and save the world from the deadly aliens. It’s like a darker, science fiction version of Groundhog’s Day.
All You Need Is Kill will hit theaters everywhere on March 14, 2014.
