It’s been nearly fifteen years since Paul Veerhoven turn Robert A. Heinlein’s acclaimed sci-fi war novel Starship Troopers into a feature film. Even though that movie never did well enough to merit a theatrically released sequel, interest in the Starship Troopers universe has lived on spawning an animated series and even several direct-to-dvd sequels. Here’s the trailer for the newest one, called Starship Troopers: Invasion.
The big difference this time is that Casper Van Dien, who starred in the 1997 Starship Troopers as Johnny Rico, had a hand in producing Invasion which by the way is the first fully animated Starship Troopers movie. Check out the trailer…
