It’s hard out there for a Stargate fan. In the aftermath of Stargate Universe’s demise, there are no solid plans for a return to the universe, whether in TV or movie form. But if you’re longing for another journey through the ‘gates, fear not! There’s an upcoming video game starring the classic SG-1 crew, and we’ve got a few new clips showing Richard Dean Anderson and Christopher Judge once again taking on the roles of Jack O’Neill and Teal’c, albeit in CGI form. Also lending their voice talents to the game are Amanda Tapping and Michael Shanks

“Episode 1” of Stargate SG-1: Unleashed is now available for Apple iOS mobile devices via the iTunes store, for a very reasonable price of $4.99. It’ll be available for Android devices in April. The fact that it’s only a mobile game is probably going to disappoint some fans, but hey, you know what they say about beggars and choosers. Either way, it’s still new Stargate with some returning fan favorites. Here’s the official summary, and you can check out the two clips below.

Get involved in the action – defeat Jaffa warriors, infiltrate a Goa’uld labor camp, solve cryptic ancient puzzles – and stop a new evil menace before it’s too late!
