Next Star Trek Movie Now Casting Actors Who Can Work In Alien Prosthetics

No good Star Trek movie is complete without a few guys in wild alien prosthetics. So it makes sense that The Wrap says the next Trek film has hired Josh Gatt to join the cast.

Gatt was last seen in Thor, or maybe you didn’t see him. His face was hidden behind a mountain of makeup and prosthetics, since he played the Frost Giant Grundroth. We don’t know who or what he’ll play in Star Trek: The Next but given his background it’s reasonable to assume he’ll be hidden behind a bunch of makeup playing an alien. Maybe something with a big, bony plate on its head?

To date the next Star Trek cast includes the original cast (minus Eric Bana who’s character is very dead) and a few new actors. Those noobs include Bennedict Cumberbatch (possibly as the movie’s villain), Alice Eve, Noel Clarke, Nazneen Contractor, and now Josh Gatt.
