Star Trek Into Darkness Images Get An HD Makeover

Fans are grasping onto pretty much every Star Trek Into Darkness tidbit they can find, either to build their excitement for the upcoming sequel or to use as evidence that J.J. Abrams is a devil determined to ruin their beloved franchise. I think, perhaps, we have found one area where even the naysayers and the yaysayers can agree: these high-def versions of some of the earlier released stills sure are purty.
The images are the same ones we saw back, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, only now available in super-dooper size. You can click each of them to see the embiggened version. While they don’t reveal any new secrets, they do give us a great look at the detail on the uniforms and sets. What do you figure the odds are on any of those Redshirts with Cumberbatch surviving till the end credits?
