Star Trek & The City Twitter Serves Up Girl Talk On The Final Frontier

Star Trek and Sex and the City aren’t two shows you would generally string together in the same sentence. In fact, that sentence there is the first time I’ve ever had cause to do so. But they do have the odd similarity here and there. Throughout the course of the HBO series, Carrie Bradshaw and company seemed determine to sleep their way through the entirety of the Big Apple; that’s straight out of Kirk’s playbook, he just worked on a larger, galactic scale. Star Trek was all about exploring strange, new worlds; the characters of Sex and the City occupy some strange alien landscape that I know I’ve never visited. And hey, Samantha (Kim Catrall) was in Star Trek VI!
The two properties make strange bedfellows at best, but the folks behind the Star Trek & The City Twitter are determined to lock them in the same room until the magic happens.

Weight jokes? You got ‘em!
The Hirogen had removed Charlotte’s entire skeletal system, along with her muscles and major organs, but at least she had never felt slimmer

Okay, I’m…I’m feeling a little queasy and lightheaded. I don’t think I have the strength to keep scrolling to see if they’ve made any pon farr references yet. Scotty, if you can hear me, beam me up. This place is worse than Rura Penthe…
