Jimmy Hoffa’s Concrete Coffin
Years of organized crime and jail time had turned former teamster leader Jimmy Hoffa into quite a notorious guy, but his legend was cemented in 1975 when he disappeared and was never seen or heard from again, or at least nowhere that could be proven. His body is rumored to be buried everywhere from beneath a Detroit driveway to in the middle of what was formerly Giants Stadium in New Jersey. Each of these claims has led authorities nowhere, and many think we’ll never find out where Hoffa ended up. If this is in fact where he was buried, then whoever the Mob got to bury him should have won the Employee of the Century award.
