Appearances: “Homer the Great” (1995), “All Singing, All Dancing” (1998)

Given how Next Gen’s Patrick Stewart has become something of a prolific voice actor in the years since, it’s surprising that, like Takei, he never appeared as himself on Simpsons. Instead he put two appearances in as Number One (no, not that Number One), leader of the Springfield chapter of the mysterious Stonecutters. In case you’re wondering, he landed the gig after his high school guidance counselor told him he was best suited to become leader of an ancient mystical society. He believed Homer to be the “Chosen One,” but as with most things Homer pursues, it ended poorly, with the rest of the Stonecutters bailing and forming the “Ancient Mystic Society of No Homers.” Number One returned again in 1998, this time with the ex-Stonecutters up to more secret shenanigans involving rocks.

Tonight we are here to commemorate our glorious society’s 1500th anniversary, and in honor of this momentous occasion … we’re having ribs!
