TheEndMass celebrity deaths/cameos (This Is the End)
A big part of the fun of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s apocalyptic comedy This Is the End is watching all their celebrity buddies stop by to spoof themselves and their public personas. Michael Cera doing rails of blow with hookers doesn’t exactly jive with his dorky nice-guy image, but it certainly is funny as all hell. And what better way for mass celebrity cameos to come to an end than with the vast majority of them falling into a pit of hellfire to be torn apart by demons? Love them or hate them, This is the End has a really good time tossing celebs to their death.

They don’t all end this way, however. Emma Watson of Harry Potter fame not only lives, she steals all of the main characters’ shit. And near the end you have one of the best celebrity cameos of all time. SPOILERS for those of you who haven’t seen this yet — and really, shame on you — but Magic Mike himself, Channing Tatum, puts the cherry on top of his rather successful year when he turns up as Danny McBride’s post-apocalyptic S&M sex slave. For a move that is legitimately surprising, not to mention uproariously funny, the real shock is that the producers managed to keep it a secret. That didn’t last long once the movie hit, but unless they were psychic, the first wave of viewers had no clue.
