The Timekeeper
Williams voiced the titular role in the Disney theme park animation The Timekeeper, also called From Time to Time. The first Circle-Vision film to bring a story and characters into it, The Timekeeper centered on a robot named 9-Eyes (Rhea Perlman) who was created by the Timekeeper to travel back in time to watch a group of important moments in the history of our planet and its culture, including the Jurassic age and a Mozart performance. This was one of Williams’ first voiceover roles in a career that was filled with them.

On paper, the idea of Robin Williams in the role of the Absent-Minded Professor sounded like a match made in comedy heaven, especially with a script written by John Hughes (who was admittedly well beyond his prime at this point). Sadly, Flubber wasn’t a very memorable film in any way other than the pretty nifty CGI used to create the titular substance, and for the fact that it didn’t get an immediate sequel.
