Red Dwarf fans everywhere have been quietly marking their calendars for this fall’s resurrection, Red Dwarf X. The new series will consist of six episodes, recorded in front of a live audience, so laugh tracks need not apply. The show will air in the U.K. on the eccentrically named Dave network. No word yet when we here in the States will get to see the latest adventures of Lister, Rimmer, Kryten, and The Cat. In the mean time, we’ve at least got these two behind-the-scenes shots to further fuel our excitement.
Both images were posted on Dave’s website…no, not a guy named Dave, the network named…never mind. In the first shot, “Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn get up close and personal with the audience…”
The caption for the second image reads, “Red Dwarf X warm-up man, the hilarious and very mischievous comedian Ray Peacock, chats to the Craig, Robert, Danny and Chris between takes…” Dwarf fans, you may now resume glaring angrily at your wall calendar.
