R2-D2 Apron Ensures The Chores Will Be With You, Always

If there’s one thing Star Wars might have inspired more of than internet debate, it’s bizarre products. Over the past thirty-plus years Star Wars fans have had no shortage of goofy trinkets to drop cash on, everything from action figures to Pez dispensers to cook books. And if you’re planning to whip up some recipes from a galaxy far, far away, how better to do so than while wearing an apron inspired by everybody’s favorite plucky astromech droid, R2-D2?
The apron is available from Haute Mess Threads Geek Chic Line, and can be made to order. It lists for $70, which seems a bit steep to me unless it also comes with the ability to pilot a star fighter. I mean, they didn’t even incorporate R2’s “eye” into the design. If you’re interested you can order one of the aprons right here…although you might be able to find even better, and equally geeky, uses for your cash.
