John Carter’s Super Bowl Trailer Arrives And Promises Something Epic

Disney continued it’s uphill battle to get the less imaginative segments of our population on board with John Carter tonight at the Super Bowl. During the broadcast they debuted a brand new, 80-second, epic trailer which splashed the movie’s name across the screen and trumpeted epic music while promising massive adventure.

John Carter arrives in theaters March 9, when it will invariably suffer unfair comparisons to Avatar, since James Cameron’s movie ripped off a lot of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic story. With luck John Carter will be good enough to be worth defending against the forces of ignorance.
