Post-apocalyptic movies are all the rage right now, but the upcoming This Is the End is putting a star-studded comedy spin on the genre. The flick has a cast of famous funny folks playing themselves, including Seth Rogen, James Franco, and Jonah Hill. The actors are all playing fictionalized versions of themselves, hanging out a trendy party at James Franco’s house when an honest-to-gosh apocalypse breaks out. Now Franco himself has created some unusual marketing for This Is the End: a mural he painted in the middle of Brooklyn.

According to Gawker, over the weekend Franco painted a giant This Is the End mural on the side of an apartment building in a Brooklyn neighborhood. This public display for his upcoming film proves that Franco is a true modern-day Renaissance man and a Jack-of-all-trades. Not only is he an Academy Award-nominated actor, apparently he’s an up-and-coming street artist too.

Seth Rogen and his writing-partner, Evan Goldberg, co-wrote and co-directed the new disaster movie. It actually originated as a trailer for a non-existent movie called Jay and Seth vs. the Apocalypse. Much like the finished film, it starred Jay Baruchel and Seth Rogen as themselves, trapped inside a home during the apocalypse and slowly driving each other insane.

This Is the End‘s cast also includes Jay Baruchel, Emma Watson, Michael Cera, Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Mindy Kaling, Martin Starr, Kevin Hart, Rihanna, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Aziz Ansari. If you want to watch celebrities being killed off one-by-one in amusing and creative manners, then This Is the End is a must-see movie for you.

This Is the End will hit theaters everywhere on June 12th.
