Iron Sky Director’s Test Footage For New Space Bounty Hunter Movie Jeremiah Harm

It’s not often that a proof of concept video can convince general audiences that the future project could be something worthwhile but Timo Vuorensola’s (Iron Sky) Jeremiah Harm test footage is something worth watching. The latest proposal from the Finnish film director is something to behold as it subverts practical notions of the space bounty hunter. Watch the test footage below…

The four-minute proof of concept comes off the heels of Vuorensola’s insane space historical fiction movie Iron Sky. The Jeremiah Harm test footage has the same irreverent quality as Iron Sky but considering not many people have seen Vuorensola’s revisionist space Nazis romp. There’s no telling when Jeremiah Harm would be actually made into a movie but this test footage serves as a teaser for its fans.

Iron Sky followed the defeat of the Nazis after World War II in 1945. After the war, the Nazis flee to the Moon (you heard me), where they build a fleet of iron spaceships. They return to conquer the Earth and seek revenge in 2018. If Jeremiah Harm has this level of insanity on the screen then we’ll be in for a schlocky treat.

Jeremiah Harm was based on the comic book series of the same name by Alan Grant and Keith Giffen. The series follows the exploits of Jeremiah Harm, a convicted space bounty hunter, who the authorities free to track down three of the universe’s most dangerous criminals. When the criminals hide out on Earth, Jeremiah Harm has a one-way ticket back to his home planet. The character feels like a cross between Jonah Hex and Duke Nukem, only set in outer space.

The Jeremiah Harm project will soon launch a crowd sourced fundraiser to help finance the film’s budget.
