“The Sun Persists In Rising, So I Make Myself Stand.” Although the film doesn’t come out in theaters until November, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Lionsgate doesn’t want audiences to forget about Catching Fire during the summer movie-going season, so the studio is busy working various social media channels.

Yesterday, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire started an Instagram account (@TheHungerGames) and will be sharing new images, like the epic poster above, to all of its followers. The new Hunger Games: Catching Fire poster features Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) on a mountain peak as the new victor of the 74th Hunger Games. The new poster almost looks like a painting rather than a photo-real or photo-shopped movie poster, which is quite refreshing.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire follows the events after the first Hunger Games film. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) return to District 12 and their families as newly crowned champions of the 74th Hunger Games. The duel-winners homecoming is short-lived, as they must go back on the road for a Victory Tour of the other Districts of Panem. While on tour, Katniss learns more about the simmering rebellion against the Capitol and President Snow (Donald Sutherland). Katniss and Peeta later participate in the Third Quarter Quell, or 75th Hunger Games, which is made up of the past winners of the last 25 Hunger Games.

Francis Lawrence stepped in to direct The Hunger Games: Catching Fire when the previous director, Gary Ross, left the film to pursue other projects. Francis Lawrence will continue on with the series to direct The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and Part 2.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will hit theaters everywhere on November 22nd, in IMAX. Watch the sequel film’s teaser trailer below:
