Guardians Of The Galaxy Screencap Breakdown — What You Might Have Missed

The trailer also gives us a really good look at the space pirate Nebula, played by Doctor Who‘s Karen Gillan.
The film’s primary villain, Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) initially seemed to be AWOL from the trailer, but Eric over at our sister site Cinema Blend has good eyes. He’s pretty sure the dude hefting Drax by the throat is Ronan, although we can’t see much about him. He’s a member of the Kree race, one of the Marvel’s universe’s major space-faring empires.
And here’s Benicio Del Toro as the Collector, who we saw briefly at the end of Thor: The Dark World. He’s working to try to get hold of the Infinity Stones, presumably for Thanos.
There are still a few major players left to see: Michael Rooker’s Yondu and Glenn Close’s Nova Prime. We’ll most likely see them, and a better look at Ronan, in the next trailer. Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters on August 1.
