Quill’s Indiana Jones moment is soon interrupted, however, by the arrival of Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou). He’s one of the film’s several villains, a cybernetically enhanced badass who works for the film’s top baddie, Ronan the Accuser. Sadly, he has never heard of Star-Lord.
Much of the trailer is taken up by a “lineup” of the Guardians after they’ve been arrested and are being processed into some sort of freaky space jail. Serving as Joe Exposition is John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey, an officer in the Nova Corps — basically space cops. Behind him is his second-in-command, played by Peter Serafinowicz.
