Now that Godzilla is absolutely stomping through movie theaters—bringing in more than $93 million dollars over the course of the weekend—our attention is turning to our next most anticipated movie of the summer, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Don’t get us wrong, there are plenty of other movies we want to see between now and then, like Edge of Tomorrow, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and even Transformers: Age of Extinction, but none quite as much as director James Gunn’s take on a semi-obscure comic book title. A brand new trailer arrives tomorrow, but because you can’t just release a trailer anymore, you have to hype it up, the studio has released the third of three teasers before the big reveal.

Guardians of the GalaxyIn the 17-seconds of this video that appeared on the film’s Facebook page, you get a solid look at some of the otherworldly surroundings, like that corridor or street the team walks down. For my money it looks a little bit like the Martina slums from Total Recall—the Paul Verhoeven one, not the remake. Aside from that, and what appears to be one seriously sunburned Star-Lord (Chris Pratt)—he looks like a lobster that’s been pulled out of boiling water—the focus in this footage is primarily action based. Drax (Dave Bautista) is about to kick some ass, Gamora (Zoe Saldana) is getting in on the act, and Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and his alien tree buddy Groot (Vin Diesel) don’t want to be left out of the fun either.

Guardians of the GalaxyAs Star-Lord, AKA Peter Jason Quill, says, they’re a team of outlaws now, and from this look, they’re not one to be messed with if you value your personal safety. After meeting in prison—they all have their own individual, and extensive, rap sheets—the unlikely crew of misfits must come together for a mission that could very well decide the fate of the galaxy. That’s going to be a difficult feat for a group of combative, antisocial sociopaths, coming together for a greater purpose. You can’t help but think that we may all be totally screwed.

Guardians of the GalaxyIn order to succeed, they’ll have to take on the entire Kree Empire, main villain Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace), dogged bounty hunter Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou), a blue alien archer named Yondu (Michael Rooker), and a cybernetically-enhanced assassin called Nebula (Karen Gillan). And that’s only if they don’t all kill each other first.
