Futurama Fan Art Puts A Realistic (And Creepy) Spin On The Animated Characters
After seven seasons, several networks, and a couple of standalone movies, the world of Futurama is surprisingly rich and detailed. It’s a world of Suicide Booths, owl infestations, and celebrity heads preserved in jars. But what would the world of Futurama look like if dragged out of the animation world and into the third dimension? It might look a little something li — OH SWEET MERCIFUL CRAP WHAT IS THAT?!?

“That” is Futurama‘s lovable Dr. Zoidberg, rendered in pants-wetting realism by artist Jared Krichevsky. Thankfully his treatments of other Futurama regulars aren’t nearly as terrifying. I think my favorite may be Kif.

You can see more of Jared’s art over at his website. He’s got some great non-Futurama stuff as well. And now I really want to see his version of the Hypnotoad.
