On NBC’s Revolution, Miles Matheson (Billy Burke) is just about the most badass man prowling the post-apocalyptic wastes of North America. Just about. He may be high up on the food chain, but he’s not alone at the top. As tough as he is, as good as he is, there is one man out there who scares the living hell out of seemingly fearless ex-soldier: Sgt. Will Strausser (David Meunier, Justified). Check out Miles’ reaction to the news that Strausser is out there, waiting, hunting, in this tense new clip.

You can see the fear, worry, and trepidation in Miles’ eyes as he considers what may lie in the very near future for himself, Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos), Aaron (Zac Orth), and Nora (Daniella Alonso). You can’t imagine seeing Miles in such a state is terribly comforting to the rest of the group. Nora also seems to be familiar with Strausser, and she’s not particularly pumped about their prospects either.

Out of all of the time he spent commanding the Monroe Militia, this is apparently the only individual that concerns Miles like this. Considering what he has seen, this is a pretty big indication that Strausser is bad news. We’ve caught passing glimpses of the Sgt. a couple of times, but in the episode on Monday, November 12th, “Ties That Bind,” we’ll get to see what he’s really capable of, and presumably why he elicits such a strong terror response from Miles.

Is he really worth going 100 miles out of their way to avoid? Miles and Nora certainly seem to think so.
