Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Movie?

Neil Patrick Harris says a movie version of Joss Whedon’s popular web series Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog may be on the way. In it, he played the titular Dr. Horrible, a sympathetic mad scientist who tries to get the girl only to have everything go horribly wrong when his plans are interrupted by a egotistical superhero.

Talking up the possibility of a Dr. Horrible movie to MTV Harris says: “Apparently they’re making a ‘Dr. Horrible’ sequel — a feature film, I hope… You don’t want to necessarily make the feature film be an $80 million giant movie, because it defeats the purpose of what the first film was made to be… Then again, you don’t want it to be so low-brow that it’s not worth paying money to see as a movie.”
