BustingOver the course of this season, the Doctor and Clara have climbed inside a Dalek, ventured to the very end of time, and even helped rob a supposedly impenetrable bank. Where to next? This week’s episode will unfold inside Coal Hill School, Clara’s current place of employment and an institution that featured in the Doctor’s very first adventure way back in 1963. Based on this new batch of images from the episode, we’ve got one big question: why is The Doctor dressed like a Ghostbuster?

Thankfully the clip and synopsis below otter…er, offer some clues to just what’s going on in episode six, “The Caretaker.”

The terrifying Skovox Blitzer is ready to destroy all humanity — but worse, and any second now, Danny Pink and the Doctor are going to meet. When events threaten Coal Hill school, the Doctor goes undercover.”

So now we know a couple of things: 1) The Doctor is going undercover in Clara’s school to investigate a threat, 2) The Doctor is awesome at going undercover, and 3) I would give my left arm for a webisode featuring David Tennant or Matt Smith living with otters for a month. On a less ridiculous note, it sounds like we might finally see The Doctor and Danny Pink meet each other, which should be interesting for a variety of reasons, not least those rumors that Pink might become an official, TARDIS-adventuring companion at some point. (I mean, it already runs in the (future) family.) Especially given the rumors that Jenna Coleman may be leaving the show in the not-too-distant future.

“The Caretaker” premieres Saturday night at 9/8c on BBC America. You can check out more images from the episode below.
